That is for sure.

Sarah - Sounds like the sort of freezer I'd kill for.

QGirl - thank you. This was probably a little worse than Pate-gate

Thanks Matt, I know the feeling - we often see them padding around the garden. Shame, the village I lived in back in England was just riddled with the things!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2147312096017840014.post-39877690354263385352008-12-02T15:04:00.000+00:002008-12-02T15:04:00.000+00:00and I thought the pate post was gruesome. yikes. I was amazed at the speed in which they were able to do so. I don't think I could ever try it at home.
You are truly brave.
(the Lady Macbeth reference cracked me up!) loved it.QGIRLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04460498816072501361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2147312096017840014.post-21395741453968144352008-12-02T12:50:00.000+00:002008-12-02T12:50:00.000+00:00I was raised in Texas by a father who hunted regul...I was raised in Texas by a father who hunted regularly during dove season, elk season, deer season, etc. Our freezer was always packed with game, and I miss having such an abundance of good meat. I could never dress the animals myself, though; that gave me the heebie-jeebies. I'm with Foodycat; I like my game oven-ready. Points to you for dressing your game yourself!Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16886857050957645040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2147312096017840014.post-48398036205250418812008-11-30T06:20:00.000+00:002008-11-30T06:20:00.000+00:00I love game. Even when it's just a matter of cutting the already plucked bird, I always have the butcher do it because whenever I try, I make a mess of all the cuts!Hopiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13753084404615138779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2147312096017840014.post-44622478918516092162008-11-28T10:47:00.000+00:002008-11-28T10:47:00.000+00:00You are brave!
